The PRIME BJJ Kids Program supports children’s physical, emotional, social, and personal development through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, delivered in a safe, structured, and positive environment.

PRIME BJJ KIDS PROGRAM

The program develops:
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Discipline and responsibility
• Respect for instructors, peers, and family
• Teamwork and social awareness
• Healthy habits and emotional regulation

Age Groups and Class Structure
Mini Warriors (3-5 years): Motor coordination, balance, listening skills, basic discipline, respect, cooperation, and introductory Jiu-Jitsu movement games.

Young Champions (6-10 years): Posture and body awareness, focus and attention, fundamental techniques, discipline, rules, and teamwork.

Junior Warriors (9-13 years): Advanced fundamentals and strategy, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, accountability, and emotional control

KIDS GRADUATION SYSTEM - PRIME BELT SYSTEM

The PRIME Kids Graduation System recognises long-term development, not short-term performance. Graduation is based on attendance and consistency, behaviour and attitude, technical and physical development, and personal growth both on and off the mat

Age 02-05 | Pre-Grey Belt System
A visual, motivating progression designed for early childhood development: White Belt; White + Yellow Belt; White + Orange Belt; White + Green Belt. After completing this sequence, the child is prepared for the Grey Belt, respecting physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Age 06-15 | IBJJF Standards
For children and teenagers aged 6 to 15 years, PRIME follows the official IBJJF Kids Graduation standards.

Stripe System

• 1 stripe is earned every 12 classes
• Each belt includes 4 red stripes
• Each red stripe is later covered by a white stripe, representing consolidation of learning
• After 4 white stripes, the student becomes eligible for belt promotion
• Belt promotion occurs only at the end of each school term

Personal Development Challenges
In addition to training attendance, students are encouraged to complete personal development challenges outside the mat, such as responsibility at home, respectful behaviour, organisation, emotional control, and healthy habits. Completed challenges generate points that contribute positively to graduation, reinforcing the PRIME philosophy that Jiu-Jitsu is a tool for life.
